"I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the
most of us...very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad..."

Preliminary combined image

Such a strange thing to see stars after a very {very [yes very]} long time. It's like getting the present on Christmas Eve... Therefore we like the Moon ('cause it is close to us...), the deadly phase shine so bright into the telescope... So this observation of NGC 2770 including SN 2007uy and SN 2008D will not be a precise one. The fainter one (SN 2008D) is very interesting example of heavy star collapse, not mentioning the probability of two SNes at a time... I hope for some V and R magnitudes and maybe rate of decline determination. If weather (and whoever) permits.

weather update: at 3:15 UT (aprox) clouds covered the sky. Rest of images could be used for flats...

Surprise!
guess what :)

P.S. SN 2008D is marked as 2007 D in fits files. Oopps...
