Almost ready

After few months of waiting we gathered all equipment we needed. CGEM Celestron mount is carrying 20cm f/4 (f=800mm) Newtonian from Bresser and AAVSO CCD SBIG ST-402ME. We suppose that this set-up would be enough to perform some exoplanet photometry (Honza) and variable stars/galaxies photometry (me).

As a control PC we have MINI-ITX Atom PC with SSD boxed in a 3.5" floppy disk box (big one :). As an observing place we choose Kladivo Observatory located at Faculty of Civil Engineering(western roof) which is now used by geodesists.

In fact, that was the first observatory here at Moravia I think, so we are happy to bring back astronomy here after many decades... While original observatory dome serves only as museum andTUBO point holder we need to finish some simple dome construction. For now very simple solution was chosen to protect from rain but later we need to discuss this more with consideration of relocating the scope to some dark area (this is in the city centre...) and control it remotely.
